I love this bakery. The campagne bread is just amazing, always fresh, great sourdough taste. Their almond croissants and morning buns are next level, with a delicate crust and real buttery taste. You can feel that the bakers working here are passionate about what they are doing. I just wish their prices were not that high ($16 for the bread and 1 almond croissant...) but I guess that is the price you have to pay in Norfolk to get great quality pastries and bread.

Came here bc I was looking for a bakery, found a bakery and pizza!! Everything was soooo deeeeelicious We got the Morning Bun, the Loaded Oatmeal Raisin cookie and the salted chocolate chip cookie, the field and flames pizza special and the It’s a cheese pizza. We have nothing left over to take home. 😞 10/10 would recommend over and over.

Ok, we've been here twice and door dashed twice...every time it's darn delicious. For reals, thin slices, perfectly extra toasted, and with the hot honey on the side...it slaps. We had delivery again, and it still is amazing. 10 outta 10, would recommend.

This pizza is really good! I love the fact that it’s organic with sourdough bread. I love the various options including beef sausage versus pork and all the veggies. I have never seen oyster mushrooms as an option for pizza and I loved that. Let’s not forget the fact that they have vegan cheese. I’m not sure if it was the owner or the manager but super nice, gave my kids and myself a gingerbread cookie. This may sound weird but I pay attention to everything and I appreciated the fact that the gentleman that rang me up changed his gloves after ringing me up before continuing to make pizza. It’s the little things for me and that was major. The only issue I had is that the menu says no up charge for vegan cheese but when I got my receipt I saw that there was a $2 up charge. When I pointed it out to the guy that ring me up he very dryly said “there’s a charge” and walked away.

Found this place by luck. I have to say best pizza in Hampton Roads brick oven pizza probably my favorite. Chocolate chip cookie better than my own home made and I make a good cookie. Will definitely be back!!!!!!

The ambiance brings you to love Norfolk and its surrounding! When you walk in, the chefs and staff greet you with a smile and a cheerful welcome! Before you know it, the efficiency of the restaurant brings you amazing results! The pizza is some of the best around, and trust me I’m a pizza guy when on travel! The breads are delicious! So next time you’re in the Ghent neighborhood give this place a try!

While the business is small, the quality is absolutely amazing! I had the pleasure of ordering The Deli pizza and it came out amazing. The pizza is absolutely the right portion size and the crispness of the banana peppers mingled perfectly with the soppressata and pepperoni. They say their pizzas generously feed 1-2 people, but it was absolutely filling for a group of three! I also picked up a loaf of their Rosemary Sea Salt Focaccia. It was the best loaf I’ve ever had in my life and made the best Sunday brunch sandwiches. Will be back for more!
The Bake House at Chelsea is the absolute BEST! All of their pizzas are amazing and cooked to perfection. They make the best oatmeal raisin cookies and their chocolate chip cookies are oh so soft and delicious! Also the sweetest bakers made me the best KeyLime Pie I’ve ever had!!!!! Thank you for making my birthday special. ?
