The Skinny Dip Frozen Yogurt Bar

After visiting my mother in the hospital we stopped to get the kids some frozen yogurt. Google told us they closed at 9pm. We arrived at 8:15 and the employee (who was talking to a friend) said they closed in 15 mins, which was fine because we were going to get it and leave. She then proceeded to annunciate that they closed in 15 mins and because they closed in 15 mins she had already started putting away the toppings. Why are you open for an additional 15 mins if you aren’t able to serve customers? Why would you be closing before you’re closed. Very disappointed and after a long day, having to deal with crying kids was not pleasant!

I visited this location over a year ago and it's definitely gone downhill. The yogurt dispensers, toppings area and tables were not wiped down. Some of the spills were dried up so they'd been there for a while. The toppings were not restocked with half of the containers being empty or near empty. There were only two other customers in the store while I was there yet the employee just sat at the register rather than cleaning or restocking. The employee barely acknowledged my existence with the only words spoken being cash or charge. There was only one vegan offering and the flavor was obscure and unremarkable. I paid $6 for half a cup of frozen yogurt. Don't waste your time or your money.

We were up from North Carolina visiting family & having our yearly vacation in VA beach area. Only thing that disappointed us was we didn't find this place before ! ( Unsure of when they opened ) There was something for everyone us !!! ( 6 different palettes ) The young ladies were very polite & helpful. (One lady we saw multiple times, she was lovely! ) We actually visited this location 5 times & 1 other location this trip. This location was by far our favorite. The " Dole pineapple whip " was the absolute besttttt!!! ???✨️? Store was clean & everything was filled. We will definitely return next year ! Planning on visiting Busch Gardens in October so we should be in then as well ! Cannot wait already! ( Hope you guys will still have the Dole whip.... only location & our favorite !!! ) Nothing local compares ???

Dietary restrictions: I always have an issue with dairy and I was absolutely thrilled to be able to come to this place! Where we live, needs one of these!!!!!

Kid-friendliness: All 4 of my kids ages 8 to 14 enjoyed themselves a lot! Cannot wait to go back. Nothing local compares ???

So greatful for this place!

Close at 9:30 but came in at 9:20 and staff had an attitude about us trying to order. They’d already removed the utensils from almost all of the toppings. Ended up leaving without getting anything. Colley Ave location

One of the best kept secrets and get if you haven't been and you enjoy frozen yogurt made with your own hands and plenty of toppings please this is the spot for you.

You can definitely tell kids run the store. My fiancé and i took our 2.5 year old daughter last night for a sweet treat and one of the young ladies from the back kept hollering for the young man at the register to come to the backroom then when he decided to go use the restroom the SAME young girl is beating against his bathroom door demanding him to let her in. Also, my fiancé witnessed the young lady put her hand under the candy dispenser and eat the candy from there. Not sure what the company policy is on that but it definitely wasn’t a sanitary thing to do at all!!!

Good froyo location with a cool patio seating are!

Great frozen yogurt, great hand whipped cream, just a tad boring on the flavor selections for yogurts.
