Lovely little coffee shop. I like to get something from the Bakehouse next door and then go over to Vessel for a coffee (they don't mind bringing stuff from next door; the staff also do the same) Their pour overs are wonderful! The Their specials are typically quite nice as well. They also sometimes host little craft tables for small businesses to sell stuff, and it is done very nicely (not even remotely pushy).

The chef in the back needs to be wifed up, the breakfast sandwiches he puts out is to die for! Add the pesto sauce to any sandwich to take it together level!I also love the barista. Blair comes up with the yummiest and smoothies

My drink tasted like hot garbage. I wanted to like it here so much but paying that much for something that gross should be a crime. This was my second time, the first the drink wasn’t good but it wasn’t bad. So I gave them another shot. I don’t think I’ll give them a third shot to disappoint me.

The service was slow. Food and drinks were awful. Ambiance is cold. The guy I interacted with, said he was the owner? Diron, was so gross and inappropriate. I felt so disgusted with my interaction with him.

We stumbled across this place after picking up an item from marketplace and WOW. The coffee was hands down the best I've had in Virginia. The salmon bagel, breakfast sandwich with crispy kale & sweet potatoes and avocado toast with a fried egg (that our three year old completely destroyed- which says a lot ) Was perfection. The staff was very friendly, had great energy, and the restaurant itself was open and airy. There were board games and books for both adults as well as children. Highly recommend. We Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

They even have a DRY BAR named Ceremony that serves premium and super tasty NA drinks (mocktails, beers, etc.) I got a 0.0% Gin and Tonic and sweet potato dish. Both were 10/10.Lots of seating area and space to mix and mingle. Only constructive criticism spot I’d say is the indoor lights feel bright during the evening time.Regardless, definitely check these guys out.

I decided to visit Vessel because Ceremony was doing a pop up bar this season and it was very enjoyable. Watching Chris craft a non alcoholic cocktail was pure art. I also grabbed a breakfast sandwich from Vessel, which was amazing. The sausage, egg and cheese on brioche was top tier. The buns were nicely toasted, the proportions were right and the good music was flowing. If you're looking for a good eats and good drinks, vessel is the place to be.
