Willoughby Fish House Reviews
Blackberry crush and Painkiller for beverages.
Crab dip for an appetizer.
Seafood pasta and Surf sampler for dinner.
Food and drinks were amazing. Service was a little slow, but the restaurant was busy with large parties, over all great experience. We will return.
😡The first and last time we visited this place was to celebrate my birthday. Thanks to the waiter and manager it turned into a complete disaster - in addition to 3 soups and a drink, I ordered $25 Flounder for my friend's daughter and $85 Big Bay entry for all 4 of us. The soups and flounder were delivered within 1/2 hour and after another 40-minutes we were presented with a... check! We were shocked but the waiter said she decided that we cancelled our entry!! - Since when...read full review
DO NOT eat here without asking prices. The small plate fish and chips are not advertised as kids special for 12.99. A standard flounder thin with a massive amount of fried breading and handful of fries 25.00. WHATTTT. This is not a 5 star not even a 3 star restaurant. I called after as I did not wish to make a scene in front of my mother for Mother’s Day Lunch. Not even dinner mind you only to be told nastily I should’ve said something then and I could talk to the kitchen....read full review

Willoughby Fish House offers a variety of dishes such as crab stuffed mushrooms and delicious crab cakes, along with great sides like fries and Mac. The atmosphere is lively and fun, featuring friendly staff and live music that enhances the dining experience without being overwhelming. Customers have enjoyed meals like Fish and Chips and Fish Tacos, praising the quality and flavor. The restaurant is a popular spot to visit, especially with the outdoor seating area available in warmer weather, providing wonderful marina scenery.
Located beside a large marina near the south end of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, the picturesque setting makes it worth the trip despite some traffic challenges. The restaurant’s small size limits seating to about 24 inside and a similar number on the porch, but the view and food make up for it. The menu includes hearty options like flounder with good French fries and thick, creamy Mac & cheese. Key Lime Pie is a favorite dessert. While the service is friendly, some diners find the place a bit warm and busy, especially without air conditioning and when understaffed. Overall, it’s a great place for a satisfying seafood meal in a scenic setting, and many customers feel it is a hidden gem that locals might want to keep to themselves.
