“We had a small wedding reception at OCB and while I would recommend it as a venue, I’d also recommend writing down exact details of what you want the event to go like. I don’t know if we ended up with inexperienced staff or just an odd night, but nothing really went like it should have. We were told two bartenders but there was only one, they didn’t seem to know when to bring out the food even though we said it was an open buffet, we asked them to serve slices of a cake from the back and instead they just placed it on a tray in the front and our guests had to slice and serve themselves. Every time we met with Bill he reassured us they’d done so many events and wedding there that they had it down pat, but it definitely didn’t seem like they did. On the whole, I’m still glad we had our reception there. The venue is awesome and the food is amazing! I’ve always heard great things about people using them as catering at other venues.“

Together we worked through our budget, and they helped us come up with an affordable food plan that checked all of the boxes. The communication was fantastic. The drop-off/setup was professional and on time. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend Everyday Gourmet for anyone looking for a quality catering service.“

Uncle Reggie brought a family feel to our reception meal which was a must for our wedding day. They worked seamlessly - as though they weren’t even there, but their professionalism, and culinary skills, spoke for itself. Highly recommend!“

From the planning process all the way through the execution of the day, Lauren and her staff truly took our experience to the next level. She accommodated each of our requests and made sure we felt like our day was catered to us. The staff also was top notch. They ensured our drinks were full all night and even watched out for our immediate family and their requests too — it was amazing! Not to mention, the food selections were truly incredible. Our entire guest list was raving about how delicious everything was and how simple yet unique the offerings were. I couldn’t say enough good things about Goodrich! I highly recommend!“

“Was drawn in by the very fairly priced Rueban. At 11$ I'd say it is the BEST, Rueban I have ever had in the Richmond area! It was not a skimpy one piece of meat Rueban, oh no, this thing was a sandwhich and I am very grateful for their generous portions. I will be coming back with my wife to show her our new favorite Rueban spot!“

“First time customers! The buffet was beautifully presented and filled with fresh, homemade foods. The staff were friendly and very attentive!! We will be returning to try the smoked meatloaf offered on Tuesdays. Wonderful restaurant.“
