Taco Rock - Oakton Reviews
2/10 Got the Tony taco and it was half cold and carelessly slapped together (taco shell was broken as well but they still served it that way). Was super stoked to try it but it took 25 minutes to make, the cheese was cold, the beef takes metallic, and was lukewarm. The queso was the only tasty thing I ordered. Super disappointed. Food was overall cold and bad and the staff was rude when I told them that my taco was broken and cold. They were not accommodating in any way and could...read full review
Not very good. Extremely skimpy tacos and margaritas are more ice than cocktail. Vibrant atmosphere though.
Chaotic no organization for pick up orders! Received a message the food was ready but it wasn't. I waited 30 minutes for food!

Taco Rock offers delicious tacos, including options like lobster and carnage Masada, alongside great birria soup, quesadillas, and street corn. The restaurant features a unique ordering system using computer screens, which some customers find fast and easy, although others may still prefer personal interaction with waitstaff for recommendations. Prices are reasonable, especially during happy hour from 3-7 pm. The ambiance is trendy and fun, with big screen TVs playing 80s music videos, creating a lively spot for dining. Fresh and flavorful food, generous happy hours, and a vibrant atmosphere make Taco Rock a great addition to the shopping center. Chips and salsa are not provided for free, but the salsa bar offers great variations that enhance the flavors of the food. The birria tacos are crispy and cheesy, and the fish tacos, especially with grouper, feature soft, moist fish with a crunchy coating. For those who enjoy a bit of spice, the habanero salsa packs a punch. The Land & Sea taco is a popular recommendation as well. While the blue corn tortillas are less gritty than usual, the messier tacos may benefit from using two tortillas for better integrity. Customers have praised the bartenders for their friendliness and swift service. Overall, Taco Rock is a solid choice for a satisfying meal and has even added karaoke on Wednesdays for extra fun.
