Slow service despite 3-4 girls working there and few customers. The 5 items we ordered were all ready at different times so had to get up 5 times to collect it from the kitchen counter. Apart from the pancakes nothing was fresh, food seemed like it was all canned food, mediocre tasting. Food served on paper plates with cheap plastic cutlery. Bright white LED lights ruin atmosphere. Glad I didn’t tip because there was no service.

55 USD for 3 pancakes and 2 simple coffees.

Visiting Occoquan is a very quaint and peaceful place....but can become very busy on weekends....
Grind N Crepe is one of those tucked away spots that is just a hidden gem...very broad menu that is customizable to your taste...I'm a more traditional type of person so the Uncle Gene....simple sausage egg and cheese on a panini..
And the grandmother with added meat...
Both are very tasty and prepared quickly...Grind N Crepe is a definite must stop for a person looking for something different and off the traditional same ol same ol path....

It’s alright, can’t comment on the crepes. But my medium white mocha (5.75) plus a raspberry syrup shot (.85) with oat milk (roughly 1.45) ended up being 8.05. I’m sorry but that is an insane price point for a medium latte. I can’t drink diary therefore I’m charged extra. Haven’t we normalized not charging for milk alternatives..?

Lovely shop. Delicious fresh crepes. Excellent experience ordering.

Now about Karen..... the service- oriented person taking the order (this engaging and helpful person's name was NOT Karen) noted that the carafe was empty, so it was discussed and i opted to wait for the fresh carafe of Vienna. But Karen....

Karen insisted there was plenty in the bottom of the carafe, that rather, no, i should not have fresh coffee.

So i again tested the sputtering carafe, and decided Wawa fresh would be a better choice. Karen was content to not offer fresh coffee when she delivered our beautiful crepes, either.

I see others have experienced mixed customer service as well, so Karen gets the override again today. A broken rep is hard to salvage.

Grind N Crepe used to be our go-to spot in Occoquan, but unfortunately, our most recent visit left us disappointed.

We ordered a crepe, a panini, and two smoothies. One of the smoothies was sweetened, but the other was not and was overly sour. My usual panini order was also underwhelming - while the bun was warm, the ham and cheese inside were still cold, straight from the fridge.

On a positive note, the staff did handle a mix-up with our order well. We had ordered the Uncle Carrol panini but received the Carol Jean crepe instead (be sure to order carefully, as some menu items have very similar names). We appreciated their effort in correcting the mistake.

The food was terrible, and so was the coffee. I had a creme brulee latte and it had a horrible aftertaste. It was overly sweet and had a chemical/ artifical taste. The crepe was awful as well. The crepe was cooked too long and the outer edge was crispy and chewy i couldn't eat it. The inside was blueberry with some sort of creme/cheese filling. It tasted like nothing and the blueberries were not ripe and tasted bitter, they were also crunchy and not even warm. It is probably the worst crepe i have ever had. The outdoor space needs some TLC as well. We couldn't set our coffee or food down because ants were crawling all over everything. The outdoor furniture was all dirty, and the cushions were gross. There is a crepe place in fairfax called crepes amore, they have crepes and coffee that are amazing. I would drive there even though this is closer to me.

They need a better order taking system. We were passed by several people who were behind us before getting ours.

Food made me feel ill the rest of the day.

Slow service, maybe 1 hour for two crepes and a slider, compounded the less than desirable experience by the belligerent patrons during the breakfast hours. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

The food was about the only good thing at this establishment. We grabbed menus and sat outside then went in and placed our order. We waited 30 minutes before going in to ask about our drinks and they had just been on the counter. Waited 45 minutes before going in for our food. However, the table next to us was being assisted the whole time. Bathroom was rough. Staff seemed to be hanging out talking and on phones more than greeting or serving customers. I'm not a regular reviewer anymore but the employees should do better.

We arrived at about 8am. There was only 1 young woman working. She was polite but certainly overwhelmed. We did not order any food simply because it would have been too long of a wait. We did order coffee. Not certain I would do so again.
