Super cute little place, and Maeve really did a great job telling us all about the available products we were interested in. It was really fun to look at all the teas and knickknacks in the store. Very cozy place great for little gifts or the exact tea you're looking for. There is a wide variety!

The most amazing shop!! For those of us who are starting our tea/holistic journey this is the perfect place to start. Not only is the staff there so positive and kind but extremely helpful. There has not been a random question that’s popped into my mind that they haven’t at least tried to help me answer. They have a life long customer here!!! That’s for sure!!

I’ve visited here twice and I had a great experience! The workers were very kind and patient while helping me. The teas are actually really good and they have a super wide selection.

We visit this store often and spend $50-$80 every time. Today the store was busy with only one employee. Waited 25 mins for our turn but was rushed because there was children running around,not mine. I asked if my daughter could use the bathroom and she said it was for employees only when we have used the bathroom there before. I get having an employee only bathroom but when we waited for over 25 mins in there just to buy something and in the middle of a transaction my child needs to go to the bathroom , what would you like me to do ? Just disappointed in the level of customer service today.

An adorable tea shop in adorable Occoquan! Aside from a wide variety of wonderful loose leaf teas, they have lots of tea-related items such as infusers, tumblers, and stickers, making it a great local gift shop for tea enthusiasts! The lady working that day was so nice and knowledgeable, she happily guided me with my tea selection. I purchased two packets of loose leaf and ordered a hot cup to go--all were delicious! Of course I didn't take any pictures, so you will have go there and see how cute the shop is for yourself ;)

Greatest Gem I have found, this place is definitely one of my happiest places. Lots of fresh teas and herbs, I have witnessed them refreshing their stocks after the smell had become less fragrant. They have candles and tea pots and essential oils, my friend always goes crazy over their stickers table. I try to come at least once a month, it is always worth the journey. The staff are so welcoming, patient and warm. I love restocking my tea supplies and trying new flavors with my little sister and my husband. After 3 years they are finally able to serve tea as well!! You can bring your own mug or thermos and fill it with a nice hot cup of a tea of your choosing. Definitely a place to visit! There are sitting areas outside, you can sip leisurely with a good book. My favorite thing to do when l make the trip is to pair a tea with a baked good from the local bakery and visit the ducks. It really is a peaceful place. Thank you for your services! I wish there was a location closer but im grateful this place exists. Cheers!

A true haven for a tea lover! Great selection, friendly staff, and creative gifts!

We found Leaf & Petal on accident a little over a year ago and we are so thankful that we did. My husband has difficulty staying asleep while our teenage son has difficulty falling asleep. We talked to very knowledgeable team members who reviewed different types of teas to help with resting the mind and body and to also help with sleep. We disclosed a medication being taken and were immediately directed to ingredients to avoid. Over the year we have enjoyed other teas from their large selection, most recently a delicious hibiscus over ice. We appreciate that when we shop, there is table for children set up with a tea set for them to play with. Our daughter loves the silicone set we purchased and often talks about the friendly team member who played with her while inside.

Leaf & Petal is a must stop for anyone visiting Occoquan and for anyone interested in learning the benefits of the blends available.

This is my local apothecary and I'm here at least once a month. This place is FANTASTIC. Not only is the back wall lined with fresh tea blends mixed by the employees themselves, but the shop also has all kinds of tea accessories as well as random household decor and books and stickers. You *will not* find fresher tea anywhere, trust me. 11/10 highly recommended, friendly and knowledgable staff, clean and welcoming store, very fairly priced products, and a discount for refills.

This was my very 1st visit and I was very pleased with the visit.I was on the hunt for caffeine-free tea blend and was able with Katy or Katie's help.This shop is small and intimate.The owner supports the military community, and I appreciate it.I will definitely return.

I’ve never been a hot tea drinker…until now. These teas all have so much flavor and are incredibly different from each other! I’ve got tea to get me energised for work and tea to calm me down at night. My daughter loves the glitter and changing colors in the tea too! I’ve also found that reading a book really is better with a hot cup of tea. I’ve completely ditched coffee. The service was incredibly easy through the website and shipping was fast. The amount of tea you get is perfect especially since I’m getting multiple brews out of one tea ball. I am recommending Petals Tea Shop to all of my friends.
