The service was inattentive and rude which affected the overall experience. Unfortunately, the food, too, didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of taste and freshness.
Excellent Mediterranean, outdoor grill with canopy grape Arbor and umbrellas. Enjoy the freshly made hummus, fresh out of the oven, pita bread and over stuffed gyros, full of fresh vegetables.

What a hidden gem! My husband and I had dinner here after the Occoquan Fall show and we were in so glad we did. My Old Fashioned was perfect with just the right amount of muddled citrus and zest. I got their spinach/cheese puff pastry. Delicious. The tzatziki with pita was cool, herby and fresh tasting. My husband’s Greek salad was beautiful with huge slices of tasty feta. What a delightful meal. They have outdoor seating in a charming courtyard and also indoor seating. Can’t wait to go back and try more. Don’t miss this opportunity to have a delicious authentic Greek lunch or dinner.

Zorba’s Grille is an absolute gem! As someone originally from the Mediterranean area, I can wholeheartedly vouch for the authenticity of their food—it truly tastes like home, and made with love.
This is a wonderful, family-owned and operated restaurant, and you can feel the care and warmth in the way they treat their customers. The entire family runs the business, and they make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. There’s a charming little outdoor seating area as well as a cozy indoor space, making it a perfect spot for any occasion.
Their gyro sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had, and the Mediterranean sampler dish is simply outstanding—a must-try if you want to experience a little bit of everything.
I recommend Zorba’s Grille to everyone visiting the beautiful town of Occoquan. If you’re looking for amazing food, kind people, and authentic Mediterranean flavors, this is the place to go!

Definitely not well known. You can’t beat the food, and the overall ambience here on a cool night out in the patio. This place should be swarmed with customers. Highly recommend the Trio Dip as an appetizer, and the Mixed Grill is a great choice to try three amazing entrees.

Zorba’s Grill in the heart of Occoquan’s historic district is a gem for anyone craving authentic Greek and Italian-Mediterranean flavors. I stopped by for dinner last weekend, and the cozy, welcoming vibe immediately set the tone for a great meal. The outdoor patio was perfect for enjoying the evening breeze, though the indoor seating looked just as inviting with its warm decor.
I started with the Mediterranean Sampler, which was a hit—crispy cheese borek, tangy dolma, and a fresh Greek salad with creamy tzatziki tied it all together. For the main course, the lamb kabobs were a standout: perfectly grilled, juicy, and packed with flavor. My friend raved about the chicken souvlaki, and the portions were generous enough to feel like a steal for the price. We couldn’t resist the baklava for dessert—sweet, nutty, and just the right amount of flaky.
The staff were friendly and attentive, though service slowed a bit when the place filled up. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, as the food more than made up for the wait. My only nitpick? I wish the menu had a few more vegetarian options, but the falafel and Greek salad were solid choices for non-meat eaters.
Overall, Zorba’s Grill is a fantastic spot for a relaxed meal with bold Mediterranean flavors. I’d recommend it for a date night or a family dinner. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try their Lycia Pizza!
