Tapas Restaurants in Onancock, VA

“We stayed at the Charlotte Hotel in Onancock for my wife’s birthday weekend. The staff (Dee & Felicia) were friendly & helpful. The room was clean & cozy and we were pleased that the hotel is dog friendly. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar & the Sunday breakfast buffet. Most of the shops & restaurants are walkable from the hotel. We enjoyed shopping at Louise’s boutique, Local, North Street Market, Foggy Cafe, and Corner Bakery (yum)! We spent the evenings enjoying art and live jazz at Morphosis, enjoying the best crab cakes at Mallard’s & the resort sushi experience at Kuchi Sabishii (also, yum). Barney Stone pub also is a dog friendly live music venue across the street from The Charlotte. We are planning our next stay at the Charlotte Hotel so that we can try their scallops, and visit Maurice & Bizzotto’s. If you are planning a getaway on the eastern shore, this is worth checking out. Wait. Maybe I should have kept this place a secret…“
