Chose this restaurant because we were seeking a steak dinner late (9:30 pm) on a Friday night. We had a great meal of rib eye steak and seared rockfish. Our server, Brooklyn, was very attentive, helped with recommendations from the menu (crab dip appetizer--fabulous) and never made us feel rushed even though we were the last customers in the restaurant! We ate in the bar area because by the time we arrived, the main restaurant was deserted so can't rate the atmosphere...
After almost 20 years, stil my favorite non-fast food stop in historic Orange, VA. Excellent grilled scallops, I'll surely be back.

So much potential here!! The location is central to the little town. The ambiance feels very fancy upon entering, but very down home when seated.
The food was very good and worth coming back for.
The service was good, but felt somewhat rushed, at 6 pm that's not cool. The booths had food and trash from the last seating. It was quickly cleared away by our waitress, but should not have been there in the first place.
