I drove all the way from NYC just to try the turkey wings and pig feet, and let me tell you it was 100% worth the trip. This soul food spot did not disappoint. Every single bite had so much flavor, my mouth was watering the whole time. The food was seasoned perfectly, cooked tender, and tasted like real home cooked comfort food. You can tell it’s made with love. If you’re thinking about going, don’t even hesitate

Whew. Have you ever had food so good you didn’t want to wait to get home to eat it? That’s what happened here. Matter fact, the food was so good I’m sitting in my truck writing this review before I leave to go home.
I had a lot of food lol. I had the fried chicken dinner either Mac n cheese and collards / needless to say / I SMACKED that with some good old Texas Pete. I also had a slice of cornbread, which was super yummy, potato salad, sweet potato soufflé and a slice of sweet potato pie. The chicken was cooked to order and it was piping hot,. Seasoned well and cooked through.. I’m so full and my eyes are so heavy but my God I couldn’t leave without telling my yall that you need to go visit this establishment before the end of the weekend,
It’s a bit hard to find but when you see the jones sign, you’re in the right spot. Order ahead bc there is not a lot of seating! If you absolutely have to sit,. There is seating!
the owner (I think he’s the owner) was dope! He checked on me, offered me an ice cold water, tuned on some good music and let me dig in. I’ll be back next time I’m down this way.
Update. It’s 5/22/25 I came back again and added another picture. This will be my permanent lunch spot for forever. Bet that.

The fish was fried and seasoned just right. Very good. Although the greens were a little too sweet, they were tasty. The Mac and cheese was delicious. The location is unassuming and small but worth the stop.

First time trying this place and it was amazing!!! Reminded me of my grandmother’s kitchen. I went alone but had plenty company with the staff and regular customers coming in. Thanks for a delicious lunch and great conversation!! This is my go-to for drill weekends now as it is close to the base!
Food is really good and u get alot for the price . The gravy smothered pork chops <2 chops > was great with cabbage and mac n cheese. The fried chicken < 3 pieces > meal was good also with the collard greens and mac n cheese . I'll definitely be going back .

This is Queen I just order baked chicken and yams and Mac for the second time, shut your mouth don’t have nothing on yall, yams was sweet and right Mac and cheese just a lil salt and pepper added bussing, definitely a satisfied returning customer
