The fish was fried and seasoned just right. Very good. Although the greens were a little too sweet, they were tasty. The Mac and cheese was delicious. The location is unassuming and small but worth the stop.
First time trying this place and it was amazing!!! Reminded me of my grandmother’s kitchen. I went alone but had plenty company with the staff and regular customers coming in. Thanks for a delicious lunch and great conversation!! This is my go-to for drill weekends now as it is close to the base!
I had a lot of food lol. I had the fried chicken dinner either Mac n cheese and collards / needless to say / I SMACKED that with some good old Texas Pete. I also had a slice of cornbread, which was super yummy, potato salad, sweet potato soufflé...
