We stopped here after passing for a while. It was very dim and quiet inside but had good music playing. Our food was very flavorful and my husband loved his oxtail. I got the jerk shrimp bowl and it was SO SPICY neither one of us could eat it 😯 Had great flavor throughout but literally we couldn't eat it. We took it home and mixed in some white rice to soften it but still, it was overseasoned to where it was not edible unfortunately. We might be back but will ask for less...
Honestly this place was decent. The lunch bowls are very dry. I was hoping for some gravy and cabbage with it as well but it did have good flavor. The Rasta pasta was pretty good and hot the flavor of the chicken was also great! The customer service could’ve been better but it’s not too bad.
I had an excellent experience during my first visit to Daq Life. The customer service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Taejah and Dexter did an amazing job as servers, making us feel comfortable and welcome throughout the visit. Overall, it was one of the best experiences I have had.
