La Cabaña Autentical Mexican Restaurant

The food was delicious. I had the El Barco and my friend ordered chicken nachos. The salsa was made to perfection. The waitress, however, left much to be desired. We had to ask several times for napkins. We waited a long time for her to take our order and we never received our check.

We ate here because it was a Wednesday and there were few other places open Mid-Week other than some fast food options. We were there early (5PM ish) and the place was mostly empty. The Margaritas were very good, and the Chips and Salsa not bad. The entrees were only okay. My wife had Enchiladas with Salsa Verde, she ate about half and considered them unspectacular. I had an order of Tacos (Carnitas) and the shells tasted horrible, as if they had been fried in very old oil. I ate only 1 of the 3 shells and on the last 2 Tacos just ate the insides with a fork and left the shells. With few options in the town, especially Mid-Week, you can't rule out returning, but I'd be more careful with what I ordered most likely.

Excellent cuisine! I am always pleasantly surprised by the homemade taste that each plate has.

We ate here on a very busy Friday night. The place was packed but the service was outstanding. So many different people came and checked on us throughout our meal. I had the chicken quesadilla and my sister had a taco salad. Very good!!

My husband and I were visiting our daughter and son-in-law fo the first time since they moved to Washington and we dined here on a Friday night. The restaurant was very busy but the service was great. We started with queso for our chips which was very good. My daughter had fajitas and it was definitely enough for two people. My son-in-law and I had the shrimp quesadillas and they were wonderful. My husband had an enchilada and enjoyed his as well. If your a local give it a try (which I’m sure you have) and if your passing through definitely stop, it is worth it.

No bad but nothing really stood out. Salsa was weak, tasted more tomato sauce. Rice was good. Have had better.

This is one of the most underrated restaurants of all time. You must go here and try one of their specials, especially if you are a vegetarian or vegan. The menu is a mix of classic and creative dishes. The service is excellent and most importantly this is a family run, local business with such hard working, kind, and dedicated employees. They really are passionate about providing a quality food experience. Highly recommend!!!!
