I've been coming to Nanny's since I was a boy. I have loved it every time I have come. My last few visits to Virginia I tried to make it for dinner but they had events going on. I was bound and determined to make it back and boy was it worth the wait.

It was very expensive to get a plate of food and a dish with some potato salad in it $24 I put the potato salad in a different container because it's cold and he charged me completely different price for that he didn't even weigh it. So my lunch was $24 the Buffett is $14.95 I think. It's the only time I've been there was passing thru VA stopped for fuel across the street. Got a to go plate.Chicken dumplings, greens, mashed potato/gravy in one container and potatoes salad in another was $24. All tasted fine. The greens were sweet very good.

Plus its worth the wait!Vegetarian options: They offer a salad bar and have several veggies to choose from on the buffet.Parking: There is plenty of parking including a gravel lot but when they are busy parking can sometimes be hard to find.
