Nanny's catered our wedding at The Barns of Kanak in Prince George, VA. Jeff was excellent to work with and ensured that all my questions were answered. We selected the package with fried chicken, beef brisket, mac n cheese, green beans and mashed potato bar in addition to cheese, crackers and fruit for cocktail hour. They had several different wedding catering options to select at various price points. The food was delicious and our guests really enjoyed the mashed potato...
The buffet is fantastic, salad, coleslaw, home made potato salad, home made desserts, minced pork, pork ribs cut in front of you, dumplings, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, collards I haven't tasted so good in ages, and on and on. Miranda was my server, she did really well, perfectly attentive. Good parking, did I say great desserts? Buffet was $21 plus tax after 1600, I drank water...if you eat there before 4 it's only $15 and change, check out website for days open...
This place was a great find! I tried to have a little of almost everything. The fried chicken was amazing. The ham, chicken and dumplings the ribs they were all good too. The peach cobbler is a must try! Great friendly southern hospitality service at its best.
