We stopped in on our way to Washington, NC. The TripAdvisor reviews raved about the catfish sandwich so we had to try it. The place is on the south side of unassuming as it at the front of a RV park. The staff and service were pleasant and timely. Our catfish sandwiches were delicious. The catfish was lightly fried and sweet. The rolls didn’t hold up too well.
This really is a little hole in the wall diner. It's great! The food was really good (I was there at 8:30 am for breakfast). The sausage was amazing. There was 17-20 people in there my whole visit and 1 waitress. She was amazing. Made it all look so easy, very friendly, and the cost was so low I thought they forgot to charge me for something. I'll definitely going back so I can try lunch and dinner!
I gave this 3 stars because it depends on what day of the week you choose to patronize this location.Our first two breakfasts (Wednesday and Saturday), I give 5 stars. The server (dark-haired mom that is homeschooling her daughter) is AMAZING! She was very attentive to ALL her customers. At the same time, she was making sure her daughter's needs were also met. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. My coffee cup was never empty and our server was right there whenever...
