Shirley's is located a classically renovated hotel in downtown Petersburg. Great detail was taken with the renovation of the building, making it a comfortable high in locatoin. The food is expertly prepared, though my Beets and Burrata was delicious but too small for an entree. Myo companion had the Chicken and apple butter sandwich which was an extra large portion and delicious. Prices are slightly high. I certainly reccomend Shirley's.
The ambience and the menu at Shirley's is like no other. The chef is extraordinarily talented and the food is exceptional in every way. The quality, presentation and taste are beyond belief! Don't delay, go to Shirley's today!
I dined here as a child on Sundays after church ( across the street). It's nostalgic and exciting seeing how beautifully the Hotel has been restored. Meeting visitors from elsewhere and explaining our history adds to their (and mine) enjoyment of their visit to Petersburg.
