Had been wanting to try this spot for a while. Walked in- was greeted warmly & seated relatively quickly. Kate took wonderful care of me! I wanted decaf coffee & she brewed some fresh for me. There were a few flies around & Kate brought over a fly fan to keep the flies away. I didn't even ask for one!! I ordered the brisket omelet w/the blackberry compote & the smashed potatoes. Kate suggested that I try the grits so I had 1/2 grits & 1/2 smashed potatoes...

Delicious shrimp and grits - best I've ever had, but I'll never drive to get them in-person again. Felt like I was REALLY glad it was the morning and not sunset. There's a vibe. Just my experience

I went there three times,
1. The first time I had “A bite of yours” which is one big pancake, two egged your way (mine were fried), and I chose bacon. I also got the boozy berry syrup and a side of grits. I also took home the blacken shrimp salad for lunch. THE FOOD WAS SO AMAZING I CAME BACK TWO MORE TIMES!!!
