Absolutely The Best SoulFood in the Area. The owner Sam is Always So Happy to see and Serve His Customers.. You're not going to get FOOD of this Quality and Quantity Anywere Else. I would recommend any and everyone to stop and get food you won't be disappointed.
I love dropping into Ellen's on my way home. The food hits the spot every time and the service is fantastic. This is a carry-out/catering operation. The food is always hot and ready to go.
Food is good. Portions are more than enough and you get your money's worth. I do wish he would add some other choices for sides sometimes but that's not a complaint as I have never had an issue with service or food. My visit was great as usual.
