“There are truly no words that can explain how amazing the food tastes. A lot of places cook to feed you, but this truck cooks to touch your soul. I’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed “besides when I get everything on the menu and over eat” 😅.“

“We had the best day today at Hickory Ridge Farm! We brought my one year old twin daughters to see the beautiful sunflowers, but our expectations were exceeded with the animals and the kid play area! My daughters had the most fun just running around, playing with the toys in the yard, and petting the goats. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of my twins smile quite as much as she did today with the animals! Bunnies are her favorite, so she was delighted to see THREE in real life. She kept telling us “Ba…hop hop.” The team was also incredibly kind and welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with the owner; it’s evident that this farm truly is her labor of love. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge that life has been difficult for my family lately. Being able to slow down and enjoy a “simple” day was truly just what we needed. While we are planning to come back, we definitely made memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your farm with us and for ensuring that we had a wonderful day.“

“Great food every time. I have been to the Norfolk location and the Virginia Beach location and they are both top notch. Everything I have tried is excellent. Last time we got the Smoke Stack Sammich, which includes brisket, pulled pork and their smoked sausage. It is so tasty and you get a bit of everything. The pork belly is great. The pork rinds are the best you can get. The wings with the dry rub are killer. We got the Tommy Boy, a sometimes Friday special, the best pastrami sandwich at the Beach. I haven't tried anything I didn't love yet. The staff is always on the move and is always very friendly. Already planning our next visit.“
