I went in there due to reviews. Once there we stood at door for about 5 mins before hostess came out and told party ahead of us who were at time seated, she was about to seat them. Cool. Once she returned she did just that. I then took a seat because I was honestly trying to understand why we had not even been acknowledged. We waited more. Another couple was now also in line. Still no one has said anything to us. Mind you our first time here. No “ we will be right with” nothing it was like we were a wall and no one saw us. Right there I knew customer service was trash as not a single worker looked up at entrance and said “hello, how is everyone, we will be right with you, go suck a toe” you know nothing. So I never even ate that alone made me wanna leave. It’s Mother’s Day like come on get it together!

You want down home food cooked to perfection with quality service from good decent people??? There's no place better... I was truly amazed by this place,.. and you will be too!!! Eat up, I've had nothing on the menu that wasn't spectacular... Prices are way under what they should be, but priced right for a great meal for your money and in this economy, who doesn't want to save a buck and still eat great??? Go give them a try, you'll thank me for it later...

My food was excellent!! This is the best breakfast I've had in a very long time! Service was a little slow but well worth the wait! The French toast was phenomenal & the eggs were cooked to perfection. Their home fries are seasoned well and perfectly cooked.The ambiance was very nice. The music was at a good level that allowed for conversation without yelling. I will definitely come back & I'm an hour & a half away!!

Got breakfast yesterday the cinnamon rolls pancakes platter w/ extra side of bologna and bacon. It was to die for. I brag about it and all. Come back today to try the French toast platter w/ bologna and bacon. I guess it's a different chef on shift today because my bologna burnt and thin as ever and the stuff all my food in one container
This place has the best breakfast. I like to taste my food before adding anything to it. Both my daughter and I didn't even add butter..didnt even need syrup... it was that good!! We will return.Service was fast and we did take out. Service was polite. And they are hiring.Atmosphere, the floor was sticky to walk on. But it was a relaxed booth and table setting. Tables were clean. We did go during the week and I have no idea how crowded it is during Spring/ Summer Weekends but I can only imagine with food like this...expect a wait. Call ahead..something.
Parking: Not even an issue.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is, but you might have to tell them to unlock the double doors... one door while the one on the left lock ...with a sign that said "use other door".

I moved to Churchland from Virginia Beach and decided to bring my family to somewhere close to where I now live and let me tell you. It exceeded my expectations. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is calming and the food is some of the best I've had in years. If you ever come by here, I highly recommend their hush puppies as the appetizer; some of the best I've honestly ever had. All of their menu items are amazing and don't seize to amaze on not just quantity but quality. This place deserves more than 5 stars if I could rate it.
