While the pizza quality was exceptional, there is an opportunity to improve service delivery; specifically, the frequency of check-ins from our server could be increased, as most interactions were initiated by our requests.
The experience was outstanding in every respect. The Head Chef/Owner is a true artisan who sources ingredients like ripe heirloom tomatoes from local farmers, instead of industrial food distributors like US Foods. The Detroit style pizzas have a thick, tasty, yeasty crust and the red sauce is house made. The house special BLT could easily feed two people, and it might be the best I ever had.. Run, don’t walk, to High Street Pizza and Pour House!
Some of the best marinara ever with the garlic knots, Detroit style pizza ( sauce on top, deep dish) was perfect, you will absolutely love it even if you don’t like deep dish. Staff was friendly and played an album by “The Who” because I was wearing a Who shirt.
