Everything was great. There's no real atmosphere to speak of. It's just kind of like a take out place. The cashier was great, excellent customer service, didn't try to rush for me, and assisted me with a question outside of their business. Real cute too. I guess that's not really needed but hey that cute face can definitely brighten your day.
Haven't been here in years because I moved states away but when I tell you I always go for their shrimp egg food Yung or they chicken yok. It never misses I literally grew up on their food. Now whenever I taste Chinese food in other cities I get sad and wanna cry because none will hit like mama chan's do
This place is an old Portsmouth favorite. The food is good and very consistent. It's a charming no frill kind of restaurant where you can always rely on getting a great meal. The menu is pretty impressive and the ingredients are always fresh. Not a place you'd take a first date but definitely a place for real foodies!!!!
