Thursday was my first time trying this place and when I say the burnt ends and brisket melts in your mouth....OMG....I've been looking for a good BBQ place and this place was right in Norfolk's Ghent area. The ribs were excellent also, tender and everything was seasoned. I didn't use not one drop of bbq sauce. Definitely going back.

I can't get enough of this place. The meats, the sides, and even the desserts are out of this world. Warning, it's not cheap- but, WOW you get what you paid for. Sublime. Get the pork-belly burnt ends and the key lime pie.

While on plane I asked a local guy about a good place to get BBQ, his response was that he wasn't familiar with any good BBQ places. Fortunately a guy a row back did and mentioned Redwood. Boyyyyyy was he correct! Tender fall off tge bone ribs, burnt ends were to die for and the best slaw and broccoli salad! Amazing and friendly staff. I was even given a yummy banana pudding in honor of my 59th birthday. Best eating during my whole stay!
