Very nice spot. We loved the live music.

Went to grab lunch, there were only a few diners and wait staff were seated. 1st meal came out, several minutes later appetizer was delivered with 2nd diners meal and after another delay the 3rd diner got their food. Unsure if there was even a cook. Mac n cheese was not edible and clearly left over from day before. The frech fries were ok but we left most of the food on the plate. Save your time and money folks.

The crab cakes are the best in town.

Based on the location and overall rating I figured this would be a nice spot to get dinner before heading to an event close by. I expected somewhat of a wait because it was a Saturday night and multiple events happening in the area but we waited over a hour to up getting cold food. We didn’t even order entrees and even after we were told the food was almost done it was another 30 min. It took over an hour for us to get a plate of wings, nachos, and fries. In addition to 2 drinks and a dessert the check was $94. I didn’t choose this place to be impressed but we could have gone to Applebees for an overall better experience for less. There was no care or concern put into anything especially the food

The wings were DELICIOUS!. But it took too long, it was like a good 1 hr and 15 min. But she was really nice I wanna go here again !🫶

Terrible food , terrible customer service , terrible music , do not come here and waste your money like I did. TERRRRRRIBLEEE

Went to Roger Browns with family for the first time last night. There were five of us in total. When I asked for the check, the waitress GiGi just told me the total, which was $149. It didn't seem correct but I paid it anyway. We very generously gave her a $30 tip. I asked for a receipt and there it was 18% gratuity, amounting to $20 and change. Not informing us was dishonest and not cool. Will never patronize this restauraunt again. You try to hook people up and they take total advantage. The food was good, beaurtiful establishment but not being upfront about gratuity or presenting us with an itemized bill was dishonest and I feel it was by design . So for that you should'nt get any stars. Shame on you.

My husband and I was discriminated and lied too my a waitress name AVA. We were told that we walked out on our food. The waitress is mad that we didn’t give her a 20% tip, she is very rude and is very entitled as a worker. We showed our receipt showing that we paid the last time we were here. NEVER in my LIFE I have experienced anything like this. This is a BLACK owned restaurant and the waitress is White. I don’t like to use race but AVA is ignorant and racist. This COMPLAINT would be taken up to the chain. DO NOT LIE on people. STAY AWAY from AVA!!

Food was disgusting. First off I usually get chicken & waffles but they changed giving breast to giving thighs like really? So i decided to order the seafood combo only to discover they sold frozen fish. It was fried so hard til it was crumbled and the fish was wet and gummy. Im just disappointed. Definitely not the same good taste like back in the day

Restaurant was mostly empty yet it took forever for someone to take the order. Waitress disappeared for over 30 minutes. Food came out missing requested condiments, had to ask the hostess to help with that. Another entree missing requested add on.
