I grew up in Germany. This was the same as Oma & Opas. The only thing missing is a vanilla cream sauce for the apfel strudel. But the ice cream made up the difference. I go here 4-5 times a year. So worth it.
Solid place with a great beer selection and authentic German food. The setting is awesome and extremely relaxing. Very kid friendly. Staff are very attentive and it’s a welcoming place.
Well established German Restaurant in Downtown Portsmouth ... has an extremely wide scale of beers on tap, in bottle and now offereing music in the Courtyard every Friday and Saturday evenings, weather permitting.
