Ok... Friday Food Critic night at Rosa's. Menu Item - Steak and Cheese, loaded down, Double meat, Double Cheese with Fries. Honestly, the sub was freaking awesome! Reeeaaalllly close to 5 stars. I will say... the double meat is not necessary. It was almost too much, but that's what we ordered and it we desired a big Ole sloppy mess to clean up afterwards with a fork. The only thing that held back a 5 star is the lack of Hoagie Spread at the establishment (we used our own... it's a must have with a proper steak and cheese), the crinkle cut fries (Honestly, who likes crinkle cut fries?), and the general quality of the meat. It was not bad meat. But is wasn't GOOOOOOD flavorful steak either.Would I get it again. Hell yeah, still the best on this side of Richmond. I've only ever had a true 5 star steak and cheese experience a handful of times in my life, so this I feel like is really good.Oh,The folks are nice and the atmosphere is exactly what you expect and even desire from a small local pizza joint.Oh, 95% of the time, the pizza is ON too... but that's forbade different review.

We went there last night for the first time. Service was excellent. Wife ordered lasagna and she found it very good. I ordered baked spaghetti with meatballs and was not impressed. The meat balls were not very good and I found the tomato sauce the same. Bread was excellent.

Best pizza in Powhatan hands down! Best delivery service as well. You never talk to a machine or someone in another country. You talk to real live helpful people who will get you the best pizza that I have found in Powhatan. Thanks Rosa's

Prices go up portions go down. They need to open the buffet again.
It was late so not too much of a crowd...the food was not bad...probably should have gotten the recommended steak and cheese...will go back again to try something different...I truly believe I just ordered the wrong item is all...great service

I ordered pick up pizza for 8 o'clock via cellphone. Got there at 7:55. Waited till 8:20 to finally get the pizza and there was only two tables with customers so they weren't that busy !!!
Good food and service. Had no problem accommodating three small children. Wonderful place to eat in Powhatan. The pizza is excellent.

The Cosby High School Show Choir had our end of the year get together here a couple months back at Rosa's and it was great! We were running behind and didn't show up until after close.... But the staff was so accommodating and excellent. Think there were only 3 or 4 people there max and they kept about 100 teenagers and hungry parents very happy with great food and drinks without a single gripe showing, what a crew and testimony to Rosa's, thank you!

WORST SERVICE EVER. Your food WILL take 4x the time to get to you than they told you. MOST of the time will be cold. The workers there are some of the rudest employees you'll ever meet. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NO ORDER FROM HERE. The owner is very VERY rude man and was disrespectful towards my mother who just wanted the food she ordered and payed for. Do NOT support this business
