When you first pull up you may be deterred since it is tucked in a little strip mall, but do not be. This is the best Mexican food around! From the food, staff, and atmosphere I would recommend this is anyone.
This is is the best food (not just Mexican food) in Powhatan. We have been coming for years, and the food and experience continues to exceed expectations. This is not just cookie cutter Mexican food you can get anywhere. The recipes and flavors are authentic and nuanced, everything tastes fresh and homemade, and the cooking is on point, with tender and meat and vegitables cooked just right. This place was good. I had the fajitas and they were ok. My daughter had the carne asada tacos and they were outstanding. The guy that brought the chips asked about a white sauce they had available, we tried it but didn't care for it. Overall I was satisfied with the place and I will be back.
