Have been here 2 times so far, once to dine in and the other for takeout. So far everything we've ordered has been amazing, especially the egg rolls! Get the egg rolls. Our waitress was great and polite. She was quick to inform us that the kitchen was pretty busy so she was sorry for the wait. Which we appreciated, the appetizers and soup came out fairly quickly and we were able to slowly enjoy those while we waited for our sushi and other entree's. Definitely gonna be a regular place to eat for us.
Updated: What a bad difference a year makes. Avoid this place until they can get their act together.Last year they were great. This year I’m given wilted lettuce undercooked spring rolls and grocery store grade sushi at best.There was a blonde eating behind the bar while checking out customers and handling food also. She had a whole plate of sushi she was eating on, not just a quick bite of something, though no eating is acceptable in food prep and serving areas.I come out here once a year and was looking forward to this based on my experience last year but this was horrible.////Unexpectedly amazing sushi. The seaweed salad was a bit overpowering so I wouldn’t recommend that though. The crab, salmon, and yellowtail were all super fresh, firm and tasty.The prices were good, the staff was nice, the service was quick and it was all good food.

Tragic how a local favorite did a nose dive. Prices went up and portions went WAY down. Miso soup comes with 4-6 pieces of tofu smaller than a game dice. The dumplings appetizer is fit for a 2 year old. Very disappointing, never coming here again.

Not crowded at all. Didn't know the lunch "buffet" was no longer a thing. Sushi craving was stronger than my willingness to drive to Richmond! Friend got bento box...enjoyed. cocktails were the highlight!

For someone who is a foodie. I love to eat out! I work in the food industry. So I understand sometimes things don't right. I have never had such a horrible experience. Not only was my chicken undercooked. There was hair in my food! I did even have a chance to even sample it when I found it. They didn't take any responsibility, no apology and still made me pay. I left empty stomach and handed. Then went across the street to the competitor Kanpai to get something to eat. FURIOUS!!!!!!!
After eating in multiple Habachis in multiple states, this Habachi spot is below standard. The food is not horrible but doesn’t taste like a standard Habachi. Portions are good. Don’t understand why people love this place so much. The service was good.
