The clear soup and sushi were absolutely incredible. The spring rolls were pretty good. The hibachi unfortunately did not meet expectations. The rice just tasted like plain rice with soy sauce, there was no eggs or anything special. The noodles had a very weird flavor to them. Their sauces overall just had a weird bitter flavor. The shrimp was pretty decent. I did sit at a table and did not go to the grill, that may have been a mistake on my end.
Speaking only for the hibachi but the soup in the beginning was not good. It honestly tasted like warm water with very little flavor. Hooefully it was just an off day. Salad was fine as well as the rest of the food was ok! Thankfully we got an interactive chef because I was watching the table in front of us and felt bad for them. We got 2 adult meals, 2 kids meals and 2 adult beverages and the total was $150. I was surprised it was that high as I just got the chicken. Turns out...
Came in on a whim, and oh my, my taste buds were dancing! Highly recommend this restaurant — super authentic with an amazing wait staff, like Cindy. You must try their Maui sushi rolls 😋. The picture doesn’t do it justice.
