We are on a eleven hour drive from NC to Pa and this is the second time we are at a Cookout this trip because it's too stinkin' good. Came thru the drive thru last week and the guy with red hair and glasses doesn't need to be in drive thru looking crazy need someone who's clean/ takes care of hygiene

So when I visit Cookout in Radford Va it’s usually through the drive thru…and the food is generally pretty good…fresh and hot!! Although A LOT of HOW your food comes out How HOT it is and especially HOW MUCH you get (esp as sides in the trays) depends on WHO is working…from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE…the last couple times we visited Cookout through the drive thru the kids that were working the drive thru were VERY RUDE VERY SHORT and acted as if we were BOTHERING THEM!! One in particular not too many days ago working the 2nd window was a TOTAL JERK to me and my friend bc we ordered 2 milkshakes and apparently he only heard one but yet did NOT CONFIRM our order at the speaker so when we told him we had ordered 2 he got really hateful and sarcastic and acted like it was our fault bc he can’t hear!! Needless to say we ended up getting both shakes but it was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience and made me feel like I NEVER wanted to go back again!! And the problem is that depending on the group of kids working it’s as if they would rather talk amongst themselves rather than help their customers! And it happens more often than not ! Personally I think Management NEEDS to STEP UP and teach these kids some CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!! Or LOSE CUSTOMERS…bc NOBODY likes to feel like they are in the way…or like they are bothering the employees working inside the restaurant…if you don’t like to deal with people or treat them with some kindness then GET OUT of the CUSTOMER SERVICE jobs!! A little KINDNESS & RESPECT GOES A LONG WAY!! 😉

Service was faster than normal. Food was great this time. They guy that took our order is usually a bit more upbeat and joking around so hopefully the day has gotten better for him, was around 3:40 or so when we went. Hopefully everyone shows those workers the respect they deserve, the one we had today definitely deserves respect and probably a raise.
This was the second time I was disrespected in the drive through by the same person. He thinks it is hilarious to say no and make jokes in the drive through while orders are being taken. I am so tired of the disrespect from the same person in the drive through on multiple occasions through multiple weeks. Definitely the last time I will be coming for a long time. I hope Cookout does something about this horrible attitude night shift has.

Came by here a few days ago, received wrong sides for both orders even though the ticket clearly stated what was ordered, also was not asked about sauces and received no straws for my drinks. Worst cookout experience I’ve had.
