Meh....honestly someone recommend us eating here. I ordered the Rueben and was disappointed. Seemed like there was more bread than corned beef and the bread wasn't even toasted or grilled like typical Ruebens. We also got the bang bang shrimp and they were very good.

Worst service of all time. Sat there for a good 15-20 minutes without even being approached. After a trip to the front someone came for our drinks. That’s the only positive we did get a drink at least. 1 hour 15 minutes later at a sandwich shop that wasn’t busy still no food. Dirty tables everywhere, servers up front doing nothing. Abysmal and I worked there 20 years ago. Management needs to be retrained or something. If there was a negative star rating I’d give it that. Hostess even said they had a server who didn’t want to do anything today. I don’t know but myself as a manager that would not be allowed. Go anywhere else in town.

First impressions was a woman on the phone scoffing and making my wife feel dumb for asking if the shrimp taco was an appetiser after being told it was an entrée (on the website it was under appetisers hence the confusion).I then mentioned this to a server when collecting the food, only to be told that the person is “like that all the time”. Which means i can’t chalk it up to them having just one bad day. This also means the behaviour of this employee was a known issue with them and the management are enabling that behaviour. The second server apologised on their behalf and was understanding and nice, which is more unfortunate when good servers are overshadowed by others.However, after getting a burger that wasn’t medium-well as asked for but burnt (and very much tasted like it) you can imagine my disappointment and frustration with this experience.

Been coming here for years. The quality over the 6 months has dwindled down to almost terrible food. Sad to see a place that used to be so good become so unsatisfying.It will only let you do one review the one above is from over a year ago.Decided to give it another shot after ordering a drink and waiting 45 minutes for it we ordered food we had a party of three two of which got their food and I never got mine. Never once did the waitress approach us besides when we ordered no refills no service except the bare minimum I will hands down never be back. The place should close

What a joke, never again Macados, after 2 years of swearing I would not go back, my wife talked me into it. Almost 2 hours on 2 sandwiches and no food, 30 minutes without drinks after watching most of the staff standing around talking. First glass of wine had crud in it, finally got a second glass without crud, we finally got up and found someone to pay for our drinks and they informed us that they are short staffed, kinda odd considering that most people weren't doing their jobs, we left there and went to another local restaurant, and they were packed and we were literally eating within 30 minutes of leaving macados, all I could do is laugh as I was leaving. BTW restaurant is nasty, stinks, sticky floors, just go somewhere else in Radford all the other restaurants around are very decent.

Food is good. But the service is horrible.Ordered takeout, barely was checked on by staff.Food was supposed to be done. But I had to wait OVER AN HOUR. For two sandwiches and Mac N cheese.I am empathetic to Food service workers, as I am one myself. However waiting over an hour for two sandwiches is ridiculous. Either severely understaffed or management with horrible customer service prioritizing.Would recommend the food, but probably will not be ordering here again due to this experience.

Placed an order to go online. Was told the order would be ready in 30 minutes. Took another 20 mins of waiting to get my order. Thought since I had to wait the food would have been fresh. 10 minute drive home and set out the food. Potato skins looked as if they had been sitting for about an hour. The salads were good and asked for extra dressing but didn't receive it. Didn't receive the French onion dip for the potato skins. Ordered cinnamon rolls and didn't recieve them. Watched people walk in to get a table and told there would be a 45 minute wait. Turned around and seen 9 empty tables that just needed to be cleared. Don't know if they were understaffed or what was going on.

Do not eat here.If the dust and mold growing on everything wasn't caution enough.Getting any service here is impossible.I used to work at the macado's in Christiansburg and having to wait 30 minutes for food was unthinkable let alone waiting two hours for two sandwiches.The food's decent but the restaurant is either poorly run or not hiring enough staff.Go to sharky's The food may be mid but at least you'll get it on time.

This is not the restaurant it once was. Our food took over an hour to get after ordering. Overall the food was subpar, with one of the entrees being completely inedible. The manager knew there were problem and discounted 10% of the check and offered us free desserts. By that point, $5 off and a cookie seemed like an insult.

Waited over a hour for 4 sandwiches, 1 of which was so tough you could not chew through. The place is also SO dirty, sticky floors, dust over everything & bathrooms are gross. Our waitress was sweet and said she would discount our check, the manager took of $2... 0/10 would not recommend
