It is rare that I can go to an ice cream shop with my nut allergy and feel safe. Thank you to the staff who took my allergy seriously. They have all ice cream with nuts in a separate area, used clean scoops, and made sure to scoop the ice cream from an untouched area (removed the top layer and scooped from further in the tub that was untouched). We will definitely be back!

The first thing that I noticed about the staff at Ben and Jerry's Reston was the warm welcome that customers receive at the door. Erica and other staff always render service with a smile. Keep the good work up because it will keep me coming back!!!

My most recent purchase was a chocolate fudge brownie ice cream in a cup and a pint, a pint of Peanut Butter Cup ice cream and a pint of Dirt Cake ice cream. I always eat the ice cream with raspberries or bananas. It's just so good! Even though I've never actually eaten my ice cream in the shop, they do have a couple of tables in the shop and right outside as well. It is a fairly small location, but I never stay in the shop anyways. They can be a little bit pricey, but they do support a lot of social and environmental causes that I agree with.

I am a Ben and Jerry’s connoisseur. I enter the doors to this location in utter excitement. EVERY SINGLE TIME!! The staff, who I consider family at this point, always welcome me with big bright smiles and cheerful energy. Thelma, Alexa, Morgan, and Lilian are so precious and dear to me. They are doing our community and our society so much good. You see, I am a quite picky Karen and try at least 10 flavors before picking the same chocolate fudge brownie that I can die for - the same sugar that I should avoid to prevent joint pain. BUT these woman have patience like no one I have met before. My heart is filled with pure joy before I have had even one bite of ice-cream. It is love I tell you.
Place is small and a little tight tomaneuver around in but the staff moved quickly to get people in and out. When requesting a dairy free option the server asked if there was an allergy then offered sanitized scoops. She then scraped the top layer back and then got ice cream for us. That's was a surprise given how a lot of places manage an allergy. Two small cups had more than enough ice cream for my wife and I. Kiddo had a chocolate dipped sprinkle waffle cone with plenty of ice cream.

The place sells stale waffle cones and when i went and showed them, and asked when they were made the girl at the counters says “yesterday “ lol! Then the other girl tells me that humidity caused them to be soggy! So unprofessional and zero knowledge of customer service! It sucks that RTC has only one icecream place! Get a real manager here and dont leave ur business to kids to run!
