Took my wife here to celebrate her birthday. To be honest, I have nothing negative to say. Everything was perfect. Our server was attentive, the food came out quickly, the flavors were exquisite, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Even with the noise around the restaurant and bar area, we never felt overwhelmed. I'm absolutely returning to Davios because the only issue I had was that there were so many more items on the menu I wanted to try! I'm from MA and can't wait to try Davios in Boston and Patriot Place as well! Thanks for a spectacular evening!

My best friend and I chose this restaurant based on its high ratings and made reservations two weeks in advance for a special Valentine’s Day dinner. Our reservation was for 9:15 PM, hoping to avoid peak dinner hours, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations—not because it was overwhelmingly busy, but because of the lack of hospitality and efficiency.

From the moment we walked in, we were not acknowledged by the front desk. A simple greeting goes a long way in making guests feel welcome, especially at a high-end restaurant. After informing the host of our reservation, we were told we would be seated shortly, which was fine. However, when we were finally escorted to our table, my friend politely asked if her seat could be cleaned since there were crumbs on it, only to be met with attitude from the staff.

Once seated, we were handed menus but waited 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders. By this time, it was around 9:30–9:35 PM, and all we received was water before being asked if we wanted anything from the bar. We ordered drinks, and by 9:45 PM, the bread arrived—thankfully, because we were starving—yet we still hadn’t placed our food order. While we tried to remain patient, it became difficult to justify the delay when we noticed guests seated after us were already receiving their appetizers.

It wasn’t until 10:00 PM that our server returned with our drinks, and we immediately placed our food order. Our meals didn’t arrive until around 10:20–10:30 PM—more than an hour after our reservation time. While both dishes (short ribs and the 6 oz filet mignon with prawn) were delicious, the portion size of my entree felt underwhelming for the price.

Our server was sweet and one of the few redeeming aspects of the evening, but overall, the experience was disappointing. Service in a high-end restaurant isn’t just about the food; the way guests are welcomed and treated sets the tone for the entire meal. The lack of acknowledgment from the front desk, the absence of a warm greeting, and the long wait times made it clear that guest experience was not a priority. It was disheartening to see other guests receive the same cold treatment upon arrival.

By the time we left at 11:00 PM, what was meant to be a special evening had turned into a frustrating one. While I appreciated the rose upon leaving, a thoughtful gesture doesn’t make up for subpar service. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one ensured I won’t be returning.

5/5 for me. My family took me to Davios for my birthday dinner. We were given a private room for 7, the customer service from the time we entered was impeccable. Our server was Jean, she wss THEE Best!! We bonded over our hometown Team Eagles going to the Superbowl, lol. I think 5/7 had the short beef ribs. It was soo tender and tasty, my niece had salmon and my nephew had a steak. Everyone was pleased with their meals. I had a couple of margaritas, they were on point! I have no complaints. The service, the food and the ambiance were all top level. Will definitely be back!

I just scheduled a 60 person Rehearsal Dinner at Davios in Reston. Finding a private space big enough for our headcount was a bit of a challenge for me. Given that it’s hard to narrow down a specific number so far in advance, I feel relieved that there’s room to grow if the party expands. The restaurant is much more beautiful in person than I envisioned from the website and the private space is secluded from the rest of the restaurant. Each staff member that I encountered - Esmerelda and Mallory that greeted me and graciously showed me around the restaurant when I stopped by as well as Carlos, the sales manager - have been friendly and helpful. I am very much looking forward to having my special event here. Edit: I have now been to restaurant to eat and the food was great.

I am Italian and cook daily ... this is one of the best Italian restaurants in the Fairfax Loudoun areas. We need more of them ... amazing service, ideal atmosphere (hard to find) and authentic. Great (not modified!) Italian wines.

This restaurant is a hidden gem located in the metro station at Wiehle-Reston. My husband and I both remarked on the exceptional quality of the food, the inviting ambiance, and the impeccable service from the wait staff. We have already decided to return for dinner soon with friends.

Firstly, I would like to commend your service staff for their excellent hospitality. Our server was attentive and professional, which I truly appreciated. However, I must express my disappointment with the quality of the food during my visit.

To start, the tuna tartare was far from what I had anticipated. The texture was overly creamy, the dish had a raw smell, and the presentation did not match the photos I had seen in online reviews. Instead of a well-balanced dish, the tuna was mixed with avocado in a way that seemed unappetizing and unappealing. Unfortunately, it left a so much poor first impression.

The overcooked crab was mediocre; however, I did enjoy the accompanying sauce. Moving on to the entrées, I was disappointed with all three dishes:

• The steak lacked flavor and, in my opinion, did not justify its $54 price tag, either in taste or presentation.

• The salmon was average; I managed to enjoy the rice, but overall, it did not meet my expectations.

• The lobster risotto was overly creamy and lacked the proper balance and texture.

Despite my efforts to make the best of the evening, this experience fell short, especially since my boyfriend had highly recommended your restaurant based on a previous visit during the soft opening. To make matters worse, the following morning, I experienced severe stomach discomfort, including nausea and vomiting. This unfortunate turn of events prevented me from attending work that day, which only added to my frustration.

All our dishes were good or great! The half portions of pasta also make ordering one with the meal reasonable.

I also appreciate that they have a mocktail menu with ~10 items on it (including an excellent hot chocolate with thick marshmallow topping).

I'll definitely be back!
