Spent a wonderful day with breakfast, lunch, and happy hour at a delightful place outdoors with shade, breeze, Lake Anne, and memories of an earlier life.

My husband and I really want to like this place but every time we have gone there had been a particularly rude staff member. We have gone multiple times and have had issues with the same staff member being rude so unfortunately we will not be going back. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice but they do not outweigh the rudeness of this one guy,

This is a usual place for us to visit. We were here last night for an amazing dinner with some friends. I ordered the Spring Chicken and it was one of the most delicious meals I have ever eaten. Paired perfectly with a bottle of the Masseria Borgo Dei Trulli Primitivo Rosato. I also highly recommend the bread pudding and the chocolate mousse.

Stopped by before the farmers market for coffee and breakfast and had a great time. We ordered the chorizo breakfast tacos which were absolutely delicious! For my coffee I had a skim milk iced hazelnut latte and that was tasty as well. Our server Ali did a great job at being attentive and kind despite how busy he was. He was hosting and serving all in one and absolutely killing it. 10/10 experience, we are looking forward to coming back to try happy hour.

Horrible service. I watched the barista have an argument in the back kitchen about who was going to serve us. Then I was delivered the worst cappuccino, latte, and matcha of my life. 0/10 would not come back here.

Always a solid breakfast option. I’ve had savory oatmeal elsewhere, but theirs is still my favorite. The breakfast Niçoise salad is another go-to - the salmon is always perfectly cooked, and the rest of the salad is ideally proportioned. The Better Half’s standard is the breakfast tacos, with a nice balance of beans, egg, and fresh onion and cilantro. Coffee options are consistently great, too.

Way way overpriced for the quality. 4 of us for lunch was $120+ and we had salads/sandwiches, and the salad lettuce had lots of stems and appeared not fully washed. The coffee was not good either and service was very average. The only positive was the patio on a nice day.

Barista did not wash hands between using the register and making drinks, and repeatedly touched the rims of the cups and all over the lids... This happened with several orders

First time coming very cool place. The music was rocking early morning! The breakfast tacos were amazing recommended by the gentleman at the counter. Will definitely be coming back.

Came with dog, asked to leave dog outside. Fair enough. When I said I couldn't and turned to leave dog outside, got a sarcastic comment from behind the counter.

Great service and staff, dinner is amazing, and drinks a yummy, great wine selection of course! Favorite dish Ahi tuna Soba Salad and Curry Cauliflour, and the chef adds fun items, favorite returns for the season change!
Great coffee and tea selection with kind and helpful batista team!
Yummy breakfast, Croque Madame, Biscuits and Gravy, Croque Madame and Avocado Toast are my fav Bkfst Items!

I always come by for coffee and forget how good the food is! Enjoy the most lovely lunch here with the family. We ordered online for convenience, but it was such a beautiful day. We ended up staying with our sandwiches in ordering drinks on a lovely patio. The chicken sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches were perfect and we were able to customize. Will be back for happy hour sometime soon!

I’ve always loved Lake Anne Coffee House for the great coffee and delicious food, so it felt like the perfect place to host my mom’s surprise 65th birthday party.

Chef Meagan and Kalie helped me plan the food and drinks beautifully. Everything was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. They handled my loud family, including lots of little kids, with so much patience and kindness, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Thank you so much to the Lake Anne team for making the celebration so special.

I used to love this place because of the location, atmosphere and supporting local. However, the past few visits when I’ve ordered an iced latte, I’ve received cold brew with syrup dumped in the bottom that I pay seven dollars for. I’m fine paying that price if I’m actually receiving espresso, but I watched the barista pour cold brew from a cooler into my cup instead of pulling shots from the espresso machine. Just wanting to get what I paid for and disappointed that has consistently not been the case.
