Hubby and I have come here for years. Charming, cozy place, good live music (gen. not too loud), outdoor fireplace/courtyard. Good wine list. The cajun risotto is fantastic! So is the cardamon latte with oat milk.

I only had a biscuit ($5).
Compared to the biscuit I get at a restaurant locally ($1.50), LACHWB biscuit was significantly worse. Like it was NOT buttery. It was a little DRY. It was not good. They definitely did not add enough butter to the recipe.
So I give this one item a 2 star.

A gem in the heart of historic Reston.

I’ve been here several times, and will definitely come back more in the future! Their cardamom syrup is one of my favorite coffee flavorings, for hot and iced coffees alike, and I can’t find it anywhere else. The salmon toast on the brunch menu is also amazing, I’ve ordered it twice!

I can't recommend their espresso, it was very bitter and burnt tasting, I had to throw it away even though I added water to dilute the bitterness.

I wanted to say that I have been several times over the years. Although things are a little pricey they are always well done and delicious. In addition, I wanted to give a special shout out to Nicki who is a ray of sunshine and always goes the extra mile to ensure that customers are taken care of. To finish, the lavender lattes are a particular favorite of mine and the tempura crab cakes I had most recently were really divine. 4.75 stars

We visited for the Seafood Paella, but unfortunately, it was a big letdown. The dish was dry, lacked flavor, and had barely any seafood — mostly just rice. Definitely not worth the price.

Service was fine. Ambiance great.

This has got to be the most over-hyped place in Reston. The food is mid / ok but the service is truly dreadful. The guy on the front desk is offish and very rude. The atmosphere inside is very blah. The food is ok but is overhyped in my opinion. The cafe near by is far more charming.

Update: I gave this place another try as a friend said the service had improved but unfortunately it was the same service without a smile.
The London Fog isn’t freshly brewed it is served pre-made out of fridge.
No attention no warmth no care.
I really don’t get this place. Still. We won’t be back.

Delish. My wife’s favorite latte — I think ever.

Delicious salmon & egg toast! Great atmosphere with Farmer’s Market activities going on in the background 😊

Usually a bit cramped, but a solid coffee shop with great atmosphere and good bites.

Has the local coffee shop vibe. Small place with a nice Ambience just beside a lake. Perfect for a break!
