We went for sushi on a Sunday afternoon after arriving from a long flight. The atmosphere was rather uninspiring and the service was extremely slow, unhelpful and grumpy. Our food was very nice but had sat on the counter for around 10 mins before being delivered to our table, which was unacceptable, since there were only two other tables occupied at the time.
go to ariake sushi down the road, this place over charges and doesn’t include the standard salad and miso soup. Both have seasoned sushi rice and special cuts like uni, otoro, chutoro etc, but matsutake has smaller portions and higher prices. Ariake is always busy for a reason. Also had to call multiple times to get a server… to grab the check etc
My girlfriend and I went here for our first time for our 3 year anniversary. It was a very nice and cute place and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was excellent, we both enjoyed what we got and kept talking about how good it was. The best part of our whole meal was our server Jaden. He was very patient with us as first timers and gave great recommendations. My girlfriend and I had a good time with him and great laughs, Jaden and the whole restaurant is a main reason...
