Yesterday was the first time trying food at this mezeh location and it was extremely disappointing.My husband was the only customer in the store, yet the staff member preparing the bowl was very slow. We were in a rush, and the delay was so frustrating that my husband ended up taking only one order instead of two. Honestly, it’s a good thing he didn’t order more, because the food was terrible. The bread was undercooked and doughy, and the rice was old, dry, and clumped together, The falafel and vegetables looked tired and unappetizing It felt like everything had been sitting out for a while This was out first visit and definitely the last

I was disappointed with the overall experience. The drinks lacked flavor—what was supposed to be a strawberry dragonfruit beverage turned out to be a diluted mix of lemonade and iced tea. The three dishes we ordered were also quite bland, tasting almost like there was no seasoning at all. The pita, in particular, had no discernible flavor.
It felt like the food and drinks were not prepared with much care or attention to taste. Unfortunately, this was a waste of $70. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
For a better atmosphere and more flavorful options, I suggest visiting a kava bar or exploring other local venues.

I have visited their fair oaks mall location a few times and the freshness of food and staff service is much better there. This was my second time here at the Reston location and it was disappointing.

Terrible service. Two people couldn’t manage a simple order of one bowl and one wrap. They dumped all the juice into the wrap, soaking the bread completelymade it inedible. I won’t be coming back. Very disappointed.

Mezeh offered generous portions, which was definitely a plus. However, the rice seemed like it had been cooked a few hours earlier and lacked that fresh taste.
The spicy hummus and falafel were the highlights. flavorful and well prepared. The veggies were fresh and satisfying. The place itself was clean and well-maintained, which added to the experience.
Overall, it’s a decent option when you're in the mood for something quick and Mediterranean. I might swing by again when I’m short on choices.

My shawarma fell apart on me, other than that the staff was amazing and atmosphere was great!
I just bought food from here and found a blade in my food while i was chewing!!!! It seem to be broken from a device or equipment... this could have been very very disastrous... when I contacted them ( bought via doordash) to report the issue they denied my request. They didn't had the nerve to say sorry! Imagine if a kid was eating this food or I had just swallowed this without properly chewing??? Fix your quality control guys!!!!

Oh man, first time here and it will definitely not be my last. Great Mediterranean food... from different types of hummus, caramelized eggplant and baba ganoush. All either in a bowl, pita pocket or wrap. Great ambiance and decor. Very clean and good customer service. Price is moderate. Good for the whole family. I strongly recommend. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Yesterday, I ordered through the app and picked up my food, only to find that the Winter Shawarma dish was missing chicken. When I called to report the issue, the staff seemed unprepared to handle the situation. This individual claimed to have arrived late to work and was unable to verify who had fulfilled my order. Instead of offering a solution, he questioned the validity of my claim, suggesting that I might be lying about the missing chicken. He requested a photo as proof and offered to possibly prepare another dish for pickup, despite my being over 20 minutes away. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there was no manager available and was advised to file a complaint online. This interaction was not only unhelpful but also insulting.
There are other nearby restaurants like Cava, Sweetgreen, and Nando's, which have also made mistakes in the past, but always rectified them. Mezeh's response was dismissive and accusatory reflecting a lack of oversight and accountability, particularly with no manager on site. AVOID this Mezah location!!
