Everything was great but the food. Had the birria tacos and, if you've had birria tacos before, you'd know that this wasn't it. They used flour tortillas, typically it's corn. The beef was more like barbacoa instead of beef shoulder, not enough onion or cilantro and you can taste the lack of spices in the consome and meat. It was missing some oaxaca cheese. The wait staff was great but not sure what's happening in the kitchen of if they've ever actually...
This is best Mexican we have found in the 5 years we have lived here.
It started with huge chips, 6 inches or more and we each got a salsa.
I had the pork enchiladas and cleaned my plate just like Grandma taught me to.
All in all a great lunch.
