Yummy Gelato and coffee
Need to get back! Delicious coffee and pastries
Gelato is excellent but definitely on the pricier side!
Tasty gelato and coffee mixes. A nice place to stop for an after-dinner treat.
Shop has tasty gelato, but pretty expensive. Their TGTG is literally a waste of time, and when you go there, they will say they have nothing, and that you have to line up early to be the first one to get it. Completely against the point of TGTG
its crazy prices 8. 50 usd plus tax for a little one scoop cup.
This is the classic RTC spot. A go-to for afterschool treats every year starting second grade. The cardamom flavor rocks… There’s almost no reason to go to RTC anymore post-covid and paid parking, but Pitango has stuck around, outlasting Red Velvet, Busara, Big Bowl, Mon Ami Gabi, and even Clyde’s… once it closes I may never return. It’s criminal what Boston Properties has done to Reston Town Center, which for me was more than the center of Reston, it was the center of the world, nay, the universe. Even Pitango’s long-time neighbor The Counter has disappeared. I fear RTC’s Pitango may not be long for this world, would like to return sometime soon. Vintage photos attached
The flavors are nice but the price is heinous—8 bucks for a small. Also, the texture seemed weird and reminiscent of turkish ice cream.
Amazing almond cookie, biscotti, affogato … highly recommended. Authentic Italian flavor 👌
I just had the most delicious pink grapefruit sorbet. I usually get the hazelnut, chocolate, or espresso gelato, all of which are amazing. This place is awesome.

Great place for gelato and espresso. They also have a very good affogato, allowing you to mix the two. We also like the insulated kilogram size to-go containers. Perfect for taking some home to the Family.
The gelato is really good! Melty like other people said.
The matcha is honestly terrible. It came out gray and so milky. It’s so bad, I think they should they should take it off their menu
Tucked away down a pedestrian alley, this place has a great gelato selection and (seasonally, fall and winter I think) delicious English-style drinking chocolate.
That staff it supper friendly and the coffee and Gelato is amazing
The guy working at night was on his phone - I asked for a sample and he was texting - so he finished the text and put it down and gave a sample without washing hands. I started to order thinking he’d go back and wash hands…. and he just went for a cup so I said “no thanks” and walked out. Gross! Wash your hands for a customer… why are you texting during business hours? You just lost a customer.
