Tiki Thai in Reston is a beautiful, lively spot right next to Reston Town Center — and definitely one of the area’s more memorable Thai restaurants. The décor and atmosphere are the real highlights here. On a pleasant evening, the open windows, patio seating, and outdoor firepit create an amazing vibe, with couples enjoying cocktails and a relaxed, tropical energy that feels a bit like an escape.

We went during a busy lunch hour and only waited about five minutes for a table. Despite the rush, our waitress was friendly, efficient, and attentive throughout. The food was very good — we tried the Pad Thai and Panang Curry, both flavorful and satisfying, though not quite as exceptional as the setting. Portions were generous, and most dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan.

Prices are on the higher side, but fair for the location and experience. Drinks were great, and the presentation was lovely. The appetizers weren’t quite to our taste, but the entrées were excellent and definitely worth coming back for. Next time, I’ll skip the starters, order an entrée to go, and maybe stop by just for drinks and the vibe. Overall: great service, fantastic ambience, good food — a solid 4 stars.

Great atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. Tiki drinks are good. Had the Mai Tai and the Tiki Shot. Had the Pad Zee U with chicken. Big portion, very flavorful, the noodles were very soft, more than I'm used to but it was really good.

OVERPRICED for quantity and quality is just not there like it was. I know we have inflation, but $16 for spring rolls and just two of them when 75% of it is just lettuce. Yea, not worth spending your money here. Not to mention when doing take out all food was in cardboard to go with no foil or wrapping to protect it. Pad thai is medium at best, still not worth $25 for small portions and chicken. Everything is extra here. Even rice cup is $6 you can buy 25lbs at Costco for $6. If you want fun creative drinks and a bar that stays open until the dui check point is put up out front this is the place for you. But if you enjoy thai food, I suggest going somewhere else.

Very nice Thai place next to Reston town center. Probably our favorite part was the decor and atmosphere. Really nice on a Friday night with good weather. They had all the windows and doors open and the patio seating is fantastic. They had a firepit going outside with couples drinking cocktails. Great vibe. Food was good - simple pad Thai and Panang curry. But no thrills or special prep. Food was probably a notch slightly below the atmosphere. Good but not excellent. Service was very friendly. Overall recommend for basic Thai food and nice atmosphere particularly if you can sit outside in the patio.

Food is mediocre and the prices are high. The drinks weren’t good either. Service and atmosphere is OK. Not sure what the hype is about.

Sat at the bar and had excellent service right away. Started with the miso soup and then the Pad See Ew — both were incredible. I’m in town visiting family, but I can’t wait to come back and eat here again.

The atmosphere and vibe here are amazing, and I really loved the drinks. That said, they are quite pricey—as is the food. We ordered two appetizers, two entrées, and three drinks, and the bill came out to just under $200 at lunchtime. Unfortunately, the appetizers weren’t to our taste, but the main entrées were excellent and definitely worth coming back for. Next time, I’d skip the starters and just order an entrée to go, while probably grabbing drinks elsewhere. Service was excellent, and the ambience is fantastic—overall, I’d give it four stars.

Awesome late night scene with chill bartenders, good music, and great food. Big barn door open and a cool breeze blowing in. I fully expect this place to be my go to bar in the near future when that's normal again. Expensive, though!

I used to like this place. Then I saw the Tiki Thai branded swasticar and immediately lost my appetite. Don't give these people your money, they could be paying their servers a living wage, but instead they spent 80 grand on the nazimobile while their servers make a couple bucks an hour. Disgusting. I can't believe I ever gave these people my money.

This place was so hyped up and we showed up twice and couldn’t get a table so we knew this place had to be good but we were utterly disappointed.

We went there for lunch yesterday, Saturday, and we got a good table because I called ahead of time and they were kind enough to accommodate my request.

There were barely any vegetarian options. Like one starter - VERY oily, mostly bland.

The waiter was off too, my husband that doesn’t ask for much had to keep calling her to get his water filled again and again and she seemed very unbothered.

Anyway, moving on to main course - I ordered pad Thai and he ordered the tai thai curry, my dish tasted off - maybe the oyster sauce in the noodles - I couldn’t eat it, but they understood and they were helpful by asking me if I wanted to get something else instead and I placed an order for their ginger teriyaki and they made sure to come back and check if it was ok and it was but no gravy - it was like all veggies in a soy sauce with rice. I didn’t want to go to a restaurant to eat rice but because they had mostly no vegetarian options, I didn’t have a choice. And by now my husband lost appetite and we just wanted to leave and we knew we were not going to go back.

This is my honest feedback of the restaurant.

Positives - very pretty decor - beautiful setting! Kind staff, I felt they were good.

If you’re a vegetarian, I wouldn’t recommend you to visit.
