I was expecting good to excellent. But our experience was 100. We had a complicated order and our waitress made it work.Dietary restrictions: Gluten allergy was not a problem with corn tortillas

The place is very good. Ambiance is great and the food tastes good. We loved the vibe of the restaurant and the servers were amazing. We mainly ate vegetarian dishes and everything tasted great. Definitely recommend the Spicy Pina

This place is fantastic and has been for two decades. I moved away from NoVa years ago but recently returned for a visit and this restaurant hasn't missed a beat. I cannot figure out how other reviewers say everything is great and leave 4 stars. Cannot go wrong with the steak fajitas and house margaritas.

Terrible, way overpriced food. Uncle Julio's has gone completely downhill the past couple of years -- here and at Fairfax Corner. Ashburn seems to be better. Shame because we used to like the place a lot. $20 for a quesadilla that had hardly any steak, could have made better at home. Other recent dining experiences have been about the same, but was willing to give it one more shot. It was the last shot. Beans on the side are extra. Really? 2 stars because at least the order was correct and prompt, and the salsa is always good.

The churros were amazing and the bowl was good. The vegetarian options were clearly stated on the menu and were quite heavy. It was a good experience.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian dishes were clearly labeled on the menu with a (v).

My dining experience at Uncle Julio's in Reston was nothing short of wonderful. The food, the location, and the staff who served the meals were all exceptional. The staff, in particular, resembled a beehive in their movement - busy, efficient, and productive, contributing to an excellent overall performance. Their dedication and seamless coordination ensured that every dish served was a delightful culinary adventure, reflecting the high standards of the restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, with a team that was attentive and eager to provide an exceptional dining experience. It's clear that Uncle Julio's places a significant emphasis on quality, from the ingredients used in their dishes to the professionalism of their staff. This visit has firmly placed Uncle Julio's Reston on my list of top dining destinations.

I got the queso birria and it was SOOO good!!! However, the service was ok. I had to flag down the waiter several times. The swirl of frozen margarita with sangria was delicious!Parking: Depending on the time; the parking is not free until after 5 pm and on weekends.

Very friendly waiter who always made sure our needs were met. Manager also came by to ensure everything NC was going well. This is a great family spot, especially to kick back at the end of a long week. Uncle Julio's is also great for birthday groups as you can get the chocolate piñata which is a delight and it's fun to break up. This time tho we ended up getting the veggie fajita which consisted of mushrooms, zucchini, onions, bell peppers among other things. I would say it's a great option for vegetarians though I do wish there was a bit more seasoning in it.

The drinks were good as always, but since they’ve changed their menu, the classics are no longer the same. I had the enchilada combo with a taco, which I think used to be called Juanita’s platter—not great this time around. Meat was meh, with soggy tortillas and very bland rice. Beans only available on request and they’re not rich like they used to be. This used to be a favorite place, but I won’t be back. :-(One plus—they did have more veg options than before. My hubby was happy about that.

Absolutely INSANE prices. Hard pass. Won’t ever support a company that rips off its customer base.

It had been years since I've had the chance to eat at this restaurant. Happy to say the quality of the food is just as good as before. Fresh made tortillas, nicely seasoned dishes, and large-ish portions make for a great meal. It is not a quiet place, so keep that in mind. Not a big deal, just the type of restaurant made for having a good time.Parking: Parking garages across the street are free on weekends and evenings.
