Been coming to 8 1/2 since I was a VCU student 15 years ago and they have always been consistent with some of the best pizza and carbonara. Only gripe is that they don't make pies large enough for sharing between 3-4 people but otherwise you can't go wrong with 8 1/2.
Hands down the best pizza in RVA! I try to limit myself to getting it only once a week, but even that's hard. The stuff is great and both locations Al have a very quant, European feel! The sauce is a perfect blend of of spices and even has a little kick to it which I like. The crust is always perfectly crunchy! And if you aren't into red sauce, their white sauce is also out of this world! I usually get a red sauce pizza with pepperoni and green pepper and it is mind blowingly...read full review

Nummmm nummm nummm. Consistently good but beware, causes serious cravings. I loooooove the spaghetti with meat sauce, it's more of that Tuscan flavor than a tomato base and is enough for two sittings. The prosciutto, mozza, arugula hero is perfect if you are in the mood for a light summer meal.
