We came to know about Anokha on a comedy show haha. We tried shrimp Koliwada as appetizer, Seafood Kozambu (Salmon), tanddori roti, chapati and papadum.

The food was all so delicious 🤤. Koliwada was tasty, fresh, crunchy. Kozambu was so good, so well cooked curry and salmon was soft.

We will come again to try other food. The servers were friendly and atmosphere is cozy, with soft music on the background. There are beautiful paintings on the wall too.

Great food and service, however a few important pointers:

They close at 2:30 pm on weeekends unlike what it says on Google Maps and even on their doors

The menu on their website is apparently outdated.

Went here for the first time. We were seated immediately, the staff was very friendly also took quite a bit of time talking to one of the members in our party that had never eaten Indian food explaining the different dishes. He also explained to me the spice level very clearly. I asked for the Goat Curry, spice level 5. It was quite nice. I ended up eating way too much and left very full and happy. Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere I will definitely be back.

Arrived around 9:10 PM (50 minutes before closing) and was told dine-in was closed, even though other families were clearly seated and eating. After asking again, I was allowed to sit, but my food was still brought out in a to-go bag. When I asked for it to be plated, I was handed a plate and told to serve myself from the takeout containers.

The entire experience felt unwelcoming and rushed. Staff repeatedly brought me the check every few minutes, trying to push me out, while other diners were allowed to stay until closing. I didn’t feel welcome at all which was unfortunate because the restaurant serves amazing food let down by the service.

I would love to speak to manager about this situation, no one should experience this. Working in restaurant industry for over 5 years customer service should come first but it was really bad at Anokha.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. We ordered the grilled herb salmon, Kalonji Pudina Chicken, garlic chilli naan, and tomato soup—and every dish was absolutely satisfying. The salmon was perfectly grilled and full of flavor, while the Kalonji Pudina Chicken stood out with its aromatic spices and tenderness. The garlic chilli naan was soft, flavorful, and the tomato soup was warm, comforting, and well-balanced.The ambience of the restaurant is equally impressive—pleasant and perfect for a relaxed meal. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience with great food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Great lunch specials. Only complaint was that it was a little slow. Delicious food and tons of it for the lunch menu.

I highly recommend going for the lunch special. I spent $16 (before tip) for SO much food. Had no wait for a table when I arrived, and I highly enjoyed the dimmer lighting and calm atmosphere. I ordered the chicken tikka masala which comes with a pot of rice, 4 pieces of naan and dipping sauce. The naan was a little oily, but I do prefer the traditional method without oil. You also get a soup or salad before hand, I got the salad but felt thrown together with random veggies, not my favorite. Everything else was delicious, fluffy seasoned rice and tender chicken! After the meal I received a complimentary fruit pudding dessert which was very good. Service was good nothing outstanding but the lunch price is very much worth visiting for! They have many lunch options and the menu is labeled clearly for dietary restrictions.
