Food is good but service was really bad, everyone was really really rude. We went at 7:30 and they told us that will close at 8 pm. They were all so rude that we had to leave at 8 pm and we were not able to eat dinner properly. I will never go here again. I wish I would not have wasted my money. Had worse experience with family.

The lamb Tikka was tender and delicious as well as the sides provided. For the side you get option of cooked veggies/greens or chickpeas with white and green sauce.

I want you to know I am having a rough week and needed to just cry into some rice and kabobs and this place absolutely changed me. Like, literally changed my whole week around. It was incredible and fresh and delicious and I am just so happy. I got the chicken tikka kabobs and a side of the steak kabobs. The CHICKPEAS! God help you if you don’t get those curried chickpeas. Y’all ever tasted heaven? You will. Order the extra bread too. Go wild. The hummus is delicious too so just grab some bread, slather hummus, add the salad and chickpeas, add the chicken, and just marvel at what an incredible meal can do for you. I grew up in NOVA and always got afghan kabobs with my brother and this tasted like skipping school in 2001 all over again.

UPDATE 3/2023: on the most recent visit the food was as equally delicious as previous visits, but was also lighter on the salt! ???FOOD FROM HEAVEN is how my beautiful 97-year-old Iranian mother described the food from Ariana Kabob. Ariana’s serves generous portions that is consistently and incredibly tasty and always made from fresh, simple ingredients. Fragrant basmati rice perfectly steamed and seasoned. Even tho the food is a tad on the salty side I keep going back because I haven’t found a place anywhere in the city with food this fresh, tasty, reasonably priced and healthy. For Mother and for me: It’s food that nourishes our tummies and our spirits every time. Thank you Ariana’s! Thank you so very much. You are a hidden gem of deliciousness!FAVES: GRILLED TOMATO ?, RICE, CHICK PEAS, SPINACH, WHITE SAUCE, BEEF KOBIDEH (incl the sandwich), LAMB TIKKAH, LAMB melt-in-your-mouth SHANK, FLUFFY FLAT BREAD. The atmosphere is incredibly boring, and the service is equally uninteresting. Most notably, the food is terrible, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There's a pressing need to enhance the cleanliness, make it a vibrant space, and initiate a substantial overall transformation of the interior.

My fiance and I loooove this place! It's so consistently delicious and one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Richmond. It doesn't get the hype it deserves! Get a #20, use the sauces, you won't regret it.
Nice service. The baklava is really delicious! Not overly sweet. Flakey outside with a nice soft but firm filling.The chicken kobida was very tender and went well with the biryani

Ohhh my god the food was amazing! The chicken was so juicy and tasty, as was the kabob. Good platters that keep you full. Chickpea side is spicy.
