Importante Bodega Bar accommodated my organization when we were in a pinch for space and I couldn’t have been more delighted with their hospitality and food. Their waitstaff was gracious, the manager was so personable, and their event coordinator was on point. But I can’t say enough good things about the food. We stopped in for cocktails and appetizers and had a lovely time! The smoked old fashioned was unforgettable and the prosciutto wrapped figs were exquisite. Superior service. We’ll be back!
Popped in for happy hour and a snack (papas fritas- excellent). Outstanding cocktails. Bartender was very friendly. Great vibe, highly recommend.

Importante Bodega Bar serves delicious tapas, including non-traditional patatas bravas with sriracha. This quaint and intimate Spanish restaurant offers an excellent wine selection at great prices, along with fun cocktails like sangria and caipirinha. With outstanding service, it's perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. Guests enjoy small plates like ham and bechamel croquettes, chorizo spread with manchego, and an enormous serving of flan. Happy hour and Sunday brunch are popular, with a great vibe on Cary Street. The bar is bigger than it seems, with an enclosed upstairs area for larger groups, and the dining area upstairs is brightly lit with a rooftop terrace. The food was well cooked and seasoned, and drinks were perfectly made. Expectations were exceeded with this hidden gem.
