Came here because of the google reviews and was really let down. I’m from Chicago and we have great Spanish tapas restaurants. So I thought those positive reviews from Spanish natives would be reliable. But that wasn’t my experience. The food was really under seasoned, which is quite the opposite of what tapas should be. In some cases extremely small portions, even for tapas. The presentation was kind of sad. Date just wrapped in ham and placed on a plate....
I had the treat experience of dining here for my friend’s birthday (he is ethnically from Spain and picked this place) and we both loved it! The tapas selection is delicious.Having been to Spain a couple of times - I found this restaurant to be authentic. Selections we tried included a delicious speciality ham plate (can’t recall the dish name) as well as the must-try garlic shrimp, cod croquettes, octopus with mashed potatoes, a squid ink dish and the ham...
Met a group here for happy hour on a Monday. None of us had been before and we were all impressed with the food and drinks. Great vibe, great concept. I’ll definitely be back!
