It takes extremely long to get your food even if there isn't any business. The I will see only one worker on their job while the other workers are sitting down doing nothing. I waited 40 minutes to get my drinks even after asking if they're being made.

My food took a long time to come out despite it not being busy, and it made me feel sick after eating. Their coffee was pretty cheap though so that was nice, but do NOT go here for food.

Was forced to order at a kiosk and wait for them to give me a bag for the self serve station. So what should've taken me 2 minutes to grab what I wanted and pay took 15. Just for the bag! And it's overpriced
Ordered egg sandwich with bagel...the bagel was like a piece of rock....like I am never going there ever again....horrible food!

Very chaotic. Nobody knows what they’re doing. Ordered a togo (which they don’t even need to prepare anything, self serve). Waited 10 mins

I had a chicken sandwich here for breakfast. It was really good, but costed like $9.50 (w/o tax) and also about half the size of a subway sandwich. I want to emphasize again that it was a really good lunch/breakfast sandwich though. So first impressions: food good but costs a lot and not big portions. Wait time was about 5 min at 8am.
Don’t let the bad reviews fool you! THIS IS THE BEST SANDWICH A SWIPE CAN BUY! The wait is really long, yes. But, I am willing to wait it if it means getting this Beautify of a lunch.
Extremely long wait time when there isn’t even a crowd. Stood at an empty register with my food for about 30 minutes, contemplated just leaving with my food without paying. Baked goods were incredibly stale. Took 15 minutes just to make me a coffee (which is the worst I’ve ever tasted, no exaggeration). And they were out of almost everything to make a sandwich. Employees have terrible work ethic, were not accommodating at all, and clearly ran on their own time. I forgot to write that i wanted iced coffee on my ticket so i approached the woman to tell her i wanted iced and she was incredibly rude about it even though she hadn’t even started making my drink yet. As a resident of the campus area I’ve eaten there numerous times and have been incredibly disappointed each time. I think i’ve finally run out of chances to give them and I just wanted to warn any visiting person of the vcu campus or richmond otherwise to know that they will not have a pleasant experience here.

Food is usually good, but they rarely have all the ingredients to make their cafe items. The employees also have a generally bad attitude and will up-charge you on items that you're supposed to be able to swipe for.
food is pretty good, but overshadowed by the negative energy of the employees. i’m on a meal plan so i try to use my swipes, but it’s almost like they WANT to over charge you. my friend was charged $4 for a mixed drink bc she put a splash of lemonade in her tea, then the lady interrogated me about my drink convinced it was mixed even though i just filled it up with one type of drink from the soda fountain. the employees clearly don’t want to be there and as a former food service employee i understand, but they get paid the same wage regardless of what they charge the customers. it’s just an unwelcoming and frustrating environment.
the best VCU dining location!come by here nearly daily for food. The wait can be close to 10-15 minutes depending on what time I show up, but VCU students can use the GET mobile app to order food ahead, which is a life saver (although you can only swipe for certain things, which is annoying). All of the employees are super nice, and I am frequently greeted by name. The quality of food here is the best VCU has to offer, and everything seems to be made inside the store and not prepackaged. My only objection is that, although they have many options for bread, not one of them is Gluten free! My girlfriend would love to eat here with me, but she is left without bread options due to her Gluten intolerance!
Food fresh and tasty
Very limited. I went there in the afternoon and so many of their pots were empty.
