Checked this spot out during a work visit in Richmond. The food is 10/10. Usually when you get takeout food quality dips since you gotta take it home, but this food was fantastic even after 20 minutes sitting in a container. Highly recommended if you’re looking for reliable Filipino food.

this place is one of the best in Richmond! Medium spice sisig, over easy egg, white rice, could eat it every day!

Spectacular. Great food. First time having Filipino. The Adobo reminded me of my mom’s Thit Kho. The beef lumpia was spectacular. He fried them fresh for us. My girlfriend got the Pancit and was happy for sure. We’ll be back soon enough!

Some of the nicest people around.
It's so hard to find people that can cook sisig right. They get it!!!

Chicken adobo was too salty, Lechon Kawali did not taste anything like it and it had a terrible taste. Had to throw away both.

Got the chicken pancit, pork belly pancit, and lumpia at Asia Fiesta in DC. Mouthwatering flavors and big portions. Some of the best lumpia I've ever had! Also very nice hospitality and friendly folks. 10/10 recommend it!

We ordered adobo, belly sinigang and longsilog. Everything was delish. Only suggestion is to be able to order additional rice (order was through doordash). Will definitely try the others next time.

We worked with Auntie Ning's to cater our wedding and it was a great experience! Guests loved the food and Fred & team were so attentive and easy to work with. I would highly recommend to everyone in the future!

Ordered late-ish at night (delivery service no less) after a long day at work, and the food was so hot and fresh and comforting, I could cry!! The pork belly sisig does NOT mess around? Made me very nostalgic. Thank you for cooking it with care even on a late rainy night!

I’m Filipina, born in the US, so I mostly ate Filipino food when I was a kid. I introduced my spouse to Filipino food and he loves it so we’ll try as many restaurants as we can while traveling. The food at this place is so good! We got sisig, lechon, and lumpia. Our chef apologized for the wait, as the sisig takes a long time, but it was well worth the wait. I am only working in Richmond a little bit longer but I must make a point to come back before I leave.

Found Auntie Nings at a RVA makers market and had the best chicken adobo that I’ve had in ages! I smelled a delicious scent from down the street and came seeking the source of it with my mouth watering already. I was NOT disappointed! The portion sizes were great too, especially for a stall at a market. The folks were so nice and were happy to comply with any custom requests if they had it and could. Introduced my husband to the cuisine for the first time and he can’t wait to order more - he fell in love.

I went to my first First Friday’s and stopped by Auntie Nings! They had super crispy flavourful beef lumpia (longer ones)! I was also suprised at how delicious the veggie lumpia’s (shorter ones) were too since there was no meat! Don’t forget to eat it with the sauce it comes cause u can never get too saucey. They were super helpful & informative since I was so indecisive about what to order between the chicken adobo and pancit. They offered to accommodate and gave me the chicken adobo and pancit together in one portion instead!Matamis is also sold alongside Ning’s which they have some bakery items! I got the red velvet and the chocolate cookie with the gummy worm! My friend got the bar with the purple and it melts in ur mouth and isn’t too chocolately where it itches my throat but the perfect amount where it’s still like creamy ?Her instagram page @matamisrva also has more pictures of desserts and custom orders which i’ll definitely have to check out!Hopefully I’ll be able to go to their pop ups again! Hoping I can try the Ube cheesecake from Matamis next time and the Lechon from Auntie Ning’s!
